The showpiece computer games event has drawn an estimated 4,000 visitors, with the promise of giving them the chance to play some of the biggest upcoming titles hitting the shops over Christmas.

The expo was the first time the event has been held outside London. And from the looks on the faces of the eager gamers who attended, it won't be the last.
